Support the artsA society's culture is defined by its arts. Public and private sector funding for the arts in the United States lags far behind that of the rest of the industrialized World, and comes in below many so-called third world nations. Volunteer arts organizations in the United States provide both valuable services to the communities in which they are established, and to the society as a whole by promoting and sustaining the arts in ways that public sector institutions cannotthey are under funded too. Poetry in the Arts, like other arts organizations, depends on the support of people like you. Any donation you make, no matter how small, goes a long way to sustaining the arts. Please consider membership, donation through the Network for Good or the other means we provide on this Web site. If we don't measure up to what you think an arts organization should be, please contribute to one that does. ________ This site best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 ppi on an IE or NS browser.
