Poetry in the Arts' Calendar of Events

PITA begins each "season" in its poetry reading series and occasional art exhibits in October. The program is scheduled between 2:00 & 5:00 PM on the first Saturday of each month at the Austin History Center. The venue is open to the public at no charge.

The Austin History Center is located next to the down-town branch of the Austin Public Library at 810 Guadalupe Street (9th and Guadalupe streets), Austin, Texas.

The program includes an "open mic" and door prizes—poetry books—are awarded after the intermission.

It has been our pleasure to host literary and fine artists of remarkable talent, and we hope you will join us when you are in Austin, TX.
